If you’re opening this course for the first time, I’ve been there, fumbling through menus and wondering where that helper function hid itself. Good news, the basics are simple and I’ll walk you through them. First, in any notebook click File, then Open to see all lesson files in the left sidebar. Want to return to a clean slate? Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right and choose Restore Original Version. Easy, right? It saved me more than once when I accidentally broke an experiment.

Need to download a notebook? File, then Download as, then Notebook (.ipynb). To put things back, hit the Upload button after opening File > Open. Track your courses by clicking My Learning at the top-right, where your progress is visible (also shown at the bottom-left of each course page). Small wins matter, so enjoy seeing that progress bar climb.

Video tips: click the gear icon to adjust speed, captions (English or Spanish), quality for slower internet, and yes, there’s Picture in Picture so you can browse while watching. If your screen is small, hide the left navigation with the little hamburger icon, then unhide it when you want it back.

Wenn du zum ersten Mal in den Kurs einstiegst, geht es dir wahrscheinlich wie mir damals, suchend im Menü, bis ich die richtigen Buttons fand. Kurz und praktisch: In jedem Notebook oben auf Datei klicken, dann Öffnen, so siehst du alle Lesson-Dateien links in der Seitenleiste. Musst du das Workspace zurücksetzen? Klick auf das drei-Punkte-Menü (⋮) oben rechts und wähle Restore Original Version. Hat mir oft den Tag gerettet, wenn etwas schiefging.

Notebooks herunterladen geht über Datei > Download as > Notebook (.ipynb). Dateien hochladen funktioniert nach Datei > Öffnen mit dem Upload-Button. Deinen Kursfortschritt findest du oben rechts unter My Learning, und er wird auch unten links auf der Kursseite angezeigt. Kleine Fortschritte zählen, glaub mir.

Praktische Videoeinstellungen: Klick auf das Zahnrad für Geschwindigkeit, Untertitel (Englisch oder Spanisch), Qualität bei langsamem Internet und für Picture in Picture klick das kleine Rechteck. Wenn der Bildschirm eng ist, versteck das linke Menü mit dem Hamburger-Icon, und hol es wieder hervor, wenn du möchtest.
