Building Coding Agents with Tool Execution

You’re about to dive into agents that write and run code, safely sandboxed in the cloud, and that’s exciting. These tools can do a lot for you, but first, let me save you a few clicks I learned the hard way.

Getting started inside each notebook is simple. Click File, then Open, and you’ll see all lesson notebooks and helper files in the left sidebar. If things go sideways, click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right and select Restore Original Version to reset your workspace. Want to download a notebook? File → Download as → Notebook (.ipynb). To upload, after opening the folder view, hit the Upload button.

A couple of small but useful controls: click the gear icon (⚙) on videos to change speed, captions (English or Spanish), and quality. Use Picture in Picture to keep watching while you switch tabs. If your screen is cramped, hide the left lesson menu with the small hamburger icon, then click it again to unhide. Your course progress shows under My Learning at the top right, and also at the bottom-left of each course page.

Practical tip: create a dedicated study space and set a recurring calendar reminder with clear action items. I do this and it keeps momentum. Also, we all learn better together, so give feedback via the Course Feedback option and join the community to ask questions and share wins.

Videoeinstellungen sind praktisch: Das Zahnrad (⚙) lässt dich die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit ändern, Untertitel in Englisch oder Spanisch einblenden und die Qualität an deine Internetgeschwindigkeit anpassen. PiP (Picture in Picture) funktioniert auch, so dass du beim Wechseln von Tabs weiter schauen kannst. Auf kleinen Bildschirmen blendet das kleine Hamburger-Symbol das linke Menü aus, erneut klicken und es ist wieder da. Deinen Lernfortschritt findest du oben rechts unter My Learning und zudem unten links auf der Kursseite.

Mein Tipp aus Erfahrung: Richte dir einen festen Lernplatz ein und lege wiederkehrende Kalendererinnerungen mit konkreten Aufgaben an. Gib außerdem Feedback über Course Feedback und tritt der Community bei, um Fragen zu stellen oder Erfahrungen zu teilen.
